There in nothing you can learn from this message board about you being knowledgable to operate your own boat. First you need to take the safety course, then find someone to show you the ropes hands on. Driving a boat is nothing like driving a car. Don't be foolish and find someone to teach you. Boating can be very dangerous if you don't know anything about it. Start by renting a skiff somewhere and start small.

I have no intentions of doing anything until I learn and feel comfortable and safe..I have rented a skiff and have run small outboards before but nothing bigger..
you up for a trip this weekend ,I have to watch the weather but I plan on goin sat.
I dont mind but if you are fishing w/ rugman you will have to wear a blind fold ,want to try for flounder or bass or both
