The Flounders were Hungrey
« on: March 23, 2008, 02:02:21 PM »
Had our first charter of the year today and it went very well. TT^ TT^ TT^ TT^ TT^

Fished the Navesink River on the last of the incoming and first of the out going.. Water temp was mid 40's.

Alomost immediatley after setting up fish on, nice 13" fattie.....then it was dead for about 25 minutes, was just getting ready to pull the plug and fissh on again...continued slow pick for the next hour of so.

Made a move and started chumming heavy, fish came in after about 15 minutes. Again we had a steady pick for about another 90 min.

Made one last setup and more of the same nice steady pick of fish.

Final totals, fish ran between 10-16" boated 27 fish (3 guys fishing) kept 19 rest were either to small or right at the mark. Boys just wanted enough for a good dinner. MArk, Steve and Pete had a great day. t^

Will be back at it on Tues and Weds......

Not a lot of company out there today slt slt (Good Thing)

Time to head for the Fresh Ham, Deviled Eggs and Capt Morgan chrz chrz chrz chrz chrz chrz
