Capt Antnee,

That is what puts the professionals and wanna be's in different categories. Any true fisherman knows that you don't ALWAYS catch the limit. Some days are a skunk.

Anyone who ALWAYS posts a limit is either lying or not posting his bad days, which is just as bad.

The professional will post every trip, good or bad. Keep up the good work.  t^

Honesty is always the best policy and who better to see a fish story than real fishermen. Capt. Anthony only tells it like it is good or bad but you can be sure he will try and try to make a good catch even if it means staying out late or going further than expected even at increased fuel prices.

Yeah, but would he tell you if he ran over his own anchor line and wrapped it around his inboard prop?

Capt. Anthony did tell me he ran over a telephone pole once.  Hey Mike, guess it will be a Long Shot before you go on that boat again?

I would probably wrap the anchor rode around my neck before I went out with him again.

Mike I do believe there are some out there reading who don't know the story of your 3 hour tour...and that it was NOT Capt Anthony you are referring to?

Fishing reports is what we want to here!  Whether fish were caught or not, is doesn't matter.  We can all learn from others!  If we were all successful catching our limit every time we went out - there would be no fish in the sea!  I fished with Capt. Anthony - he went above and beyond.  He didn't treat it like a business, he wanted to catch fish....bottom line.... and did everything possible to do that (aside from dynamite)!  He put in overtime when the bite was on!  There is no sugar coating with him!  We all want to catch fish and here we have an opportunity to share our secrets.  Ultimately we are all fisherman and share the same interest!

No, no. It was really directed towards Bob who shared a blackfish charter back in Dec. with me, Young Gull and Duffman.

Was well publicized back then. Captain ran over his own anchor line 2nd drop of morning while blackfishing @ 17 fathoms.
