Wow.. those pumps suck. It seems like every year I am replacing them. Good luck getting her ready, you picked a great weather day for it.
I wonder if somehow an aquarium pump could be wired in?? I have mag drive (pond master)pumps thats been running almost 10 years now and it's only shut down once a week for about 90 mins while I change the water. They range in size from a few hundered GPH to 3600 GPH.
