USCG Vessel Safety Check
« on: April 21, 2008, 10:56:12 AM »

Should you want your boat checked, go to the site below to find an examiner. hey will come to your boat, Inspect it, give you a sticker and a hard copy of the report.

If there are 2-3 guys in a Marinia maybe get together and do it all at once to save they Examiner gas. The service is free TT^

It's always good to have someone else check your gear. You never know what you may have missed or you may think a piece of equipment is in good condition but it is not.

An example with your PFDs. They can look to be in excellent condition. But, the material gets weak with age without showing. Pull on a strap and make sure the strap does not rip off or the material tear. If it does, time to replace the PFD.

Thanks for the info need to get  that done.
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!
