Reel Class Flounder 4/21

Had Mike Byrne Sr. and Jr., Andrew D and his buddy Cesar aboard for a flounder trip.

Overcast skies, a howling ENE wind made things tough from the get go. Had some bites early on at the change of tide W of 35, landed a few. It seemed like it took forever for the outgoing to get going, and coupled up against the cranking wind we had a tough time setting up. Wound up with just 1 more fish, a ton of shmegma, and some incredibly cold hands.

Made a total of 7 drops, picked 4 flounder all keepers. Very tough, miserable day, guys fished hard, we tried everything, it just wasn't working today. Back at it on Wednesday, will of course post a report then.

outside of 3 days last week, this hasn't been the best spring for fishing(weather wise) ...

Hopefully that changes so the fishing can kick into high gear.
