Lettered the boat today
« on: April 22, 2008, 02:18:17 PM »
I took advantage of the nice weather today and applied my boat name graphics. I got them online from NAMEMYBOAT.COM. They are located in Waynesboro Tn. where there is a lower cost of living, (almost everywhere is lower than NJ). They were able to beat any price I was quoted locally by more than half! t^ The application was EASY!  Clean the area with denatrued alochol, tape in position, remove backing and spray with soapy water ans squeegee 1/2 at a time. Remove masking. Looks like a professional application. My freinds can't beleive I did it myself. <'((((><

If you need lettering locally then try the route 18 flee market.  I had my lettering done there for two boats and they do a great job. Cost was $30 a side. 9 letters and a fish grafic.

I've got 6" lettering in Gold Leaf with Black outline and shadowing. I was unable to even find that for anything close in NJ. <'((((><

I did mine myself the same way.  I screwed up one year and it got creased a bit, but after that, it was very simple.

very nice outcome. I especially like the name of the boat. At first I thought; he probably got a good deal because they spelt assault wrong ???   5hrug... then my brain went duh.... it stands for a-salt weapon...

love names that make you think...
