Headed out on to the river late afternoon around 4:15, 3 onboard, Fished on Coyote Cal's Boat along with John C. We started out fishing the incoming tide and John C being the lucky dog catching a mixed bag of fish, while jigging for herring John catches a small Walleye and a nice size channel cat on a Sabiki Rig. After putting a dozen herring in livewell we headed up river between the Trenton bridges. John C had his bait runner go off to pull in a 24" striper, next up Coyote Cal with a channel cat on a herring chunk. John C had his reel start to sing again with a fat 27" striper. I was odd man out left to take pictures. The hot bite came with about an hour to go before the flood tide. The water was wamer then the air tonight.
