Cinco de Mayo Stripers! (Or just striper...)

LATE start today...10:45 to be exact.  Headed out to the Reach and Old Orchard area with a bucket of clams and hopes to get some bunker on the way out of Monmouth Beach....  NOPE.

So, there we were loaded only with clams.  Sat with a good slick for about an hour or so with nothing.  The one good run that produced a nice 30 inch keeper.  The bad, it was the only run off... (can't count the one skate.) 

Once we cut her up, we found out it was a her.  And...she was yet to spawn....shame.
