5/11 Report
« on: May 11, 2008, 04:54:41 PM »
Hit AH around 8 AM. Wind blowing pretty good. Trolled spoons out to the Knoll and around. The fleet was moving all over. Picked up 10 big blues and one striper. Headed in around 12:30. It was nice to get out and every thing worked fine on the boat. Try it again next weekend.
Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

 nice work diesel.

not to jump the topic, but your radar arch,,, is that the "arch in a box"? i was thinking of getting that last year but did not know how much of a hassle it would be, or how well it would look. but seeing your pic, if it is the same it looks pretty decent. how bad was it installing it?

Good try Ramtough. I hope to get out some day next week. Still have cleaning to do and have to put all my gear back on.
Good to know I didn't miss anything yet.  TT^

Reel Time,
Yes it,s the one in the box from Atlantic. Not bad to put up at all. One thing I did to run the wires thru it was drilled both holes, one on top and the other on the bottom and used a shop vac and string. The vac pulled the string thru it, worked well.

Diesel, does that arch fold down? It looks like heavy duty bimini mounts. Thanks, JMI

You can fold it, but it would be a pain. It's heavy and I have the wires running thru it and I didn't put any plugs on the wires.
