Hot Rod Boats a Keeper

HAd the great pleasure of fishing with our very own Hot Rod, his Dad Rod and Hot Rods son Jeff. While the weather was iffy at first it turned out to be a great day, calm seas and sunshine.

Thought it was going to be a banner day, the bite was hot the day before, not long after our first setup  Rod Sr's reel was screaming, how ever the fish was lost before breaking water.......no other action other than skates. Jeff did however catch a nice clam on a diamond jig, i must say a fist for my boat.

Made another setup had a cow nosed Ray and then Hot Rod got his keeper, a 28" fish.....a joy to behold. Almost has to give Rod CPR after the fight.......

Made a few more set ups with nothing.......one of those, ya should have been here yesterday.

A great day on the water with three gentlemen, to watch three generations of a family enjoying a great time is priceless TT^

Capt Bob.  Thank You for a great trip.  though the bite was off...the fun wasn't  TT^ 

We didn't see many boats catching. 

That was  one angry fish and yea....it kicked my Azz..  t^

You run a 1st Class Operation there Capt Bob  TT^

I'll tell you one thing, that clam put up a fight!! Jumping out of the water and all! I know most of you are thinking to yourselves.."Was it a keeper?" Heck yes it was! Cap Bob beat it and threw it right over. My one keeper and he bashed it! thud All in all it was a great time, met a great guy, and got to enjoy the day with good ole' Hotrod and Hotrod Sr. I just want to thank Cap Bob one more time for a fantastic time!

I gotta let the cat out of the bag, Rods keeper was caught on Jeff's pole.....but the pole was in the holder next to the food cooler where Rod was camped out TT^.......sssssoooooooo t^
