5-30 vs 6-1,,,6-1 wins
« on: June 02, 2008, 06:06:53 PM »
Friday headed out 5ish for another skunking. Nice suprise was the bunker in my marina all over. No more running to GK. went all over till 2 am with nothing to show but some stinky blues.
My buddy called me sunday afternoon and proceeded to brag about his day bassing and how well they did so I tried to get a short notice crew but no takers,  but I went solo anyway. Snagged bunkers and was out at the SPOT fishing by 6pm. Drifted heads and boated 3 nice 35 inchers. Had a double header at on point and lost the first trying to net and grabbed the other rod to find it slack. reeled it in to rebait and halfway in bammm, the bass was still on.  Had a bunch of run offs and a few blues stealing hooks. It was a great night. wish I could have shared it with some of the guys who were on my last 2 trips....As far as the SPOT I will say it was out by romers somewhere.
