Manasquan Inlet-South 6/2

Left Manasquan inlet this morning and started trolling south. Ran into the Bunker off Lavallette, stayed awhile,nothing on them. nosmly South of there we found the birds working, all the blues you wanted on metal, kept a few. No Bass to be had. Ben Franklin paid for gas today, will give it a try again Tuesday. <'((((><

Just got a call from my son, he and his friend are surf fishing in Mantaloking, just a little north of where you describe, and they caught a couple of big bluefish on bunker chunks. I believe they snagged the bunker, also.

Nice report. I found bunker off of Mantaloking on Sunday. Not a thing with them. Not even bluefish.  :P

I am hearing reports of a lot of dolphin around maybe that is the answer.  For the most part they are running close to the beaches.
