Cabela,Bass Pro online and eBay work for me.

In my area (Woodbridge) most tackle shops don't have a wide variety of saltwater tackle or are overpriced. Easier to find what you want online.

I bounce between three sources, Grumpy's, Betty & Nicks and SRMO.  I am a staunch believer in supporting your local small business as much as possible.

The two B&T's are in  Seaside Park and the third is in Shark River.

Another vote for Shark River Mail Order. I like the fact that I can support a local biz. and they have a great selection of the right stuff for our area, the fill rate is great and they ship lightning fast.. Stuff usually gets to me in NY in 3 days.

I get quite a bit from EBAY when not using my local B&T... I usually use them for inshore stuff; respooling; and live bait...

But for off shore from EBAY just yesterday got for $13 including shipping and handling ($7.95):

Got outbid on another one where my max bid was $4.99 and it went for $5.24...went off at 4 AM and I was winning it when I went to bed at midnight...

From Australis I got 8 squidders plus a lure bag for $16... which included $9 shipping charge

I look for no reserve minimum bid stuff that is about to end and try to get for minimum bid...actually got a decent daisy chain for .99 from Hong Kong plus 3.99 shipping and handling because nobody else had bid..  there are some good deals out there

Online: Cabela's, Ebay, SRMO. There are a few other sites that I buy something from every now & then.

Locally: Har-Lee Rod (Jersey City), True World (Bayonne). Will spot in some shops on my way to the boat if I need something.

I get allot of my tackle, rods/reels over the winter at various outdoor shows & flez markets.

Just got back from a lunch time run to Effingers. Picked up some gulp swimming mullets, (char., hot pink, white). Also got some supplies to tie my own teasers( bucktail, 2/0, 3/0 hooks, head cement, fake eyes) I have alot of supplies at home also. Someting to do when I am not fishing and to relax me.
