Saturday Stripers 6/14
« on: June 14, 2008, 10:39:21 PM »
Left late this morning chrz headed south out of Manasquan Inlet. Frank was down by Seaside and had just put one in the boat. Started to work south, loads of bunker pods, my wife nailed a big blue. Working close to the beach only provided more blues/bite offs. Moved to some deeper water and found the hungry bass off Ortley Beach at 30ft.  Put 3 nice ones on ice, sent the rest back. Worked pods on the way back to the inlet, all blues. Heard alot of chatter of bass down by the ferris wheel, but I did'nt need to go that far. <'((((><
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><

Nice grab, sweet looking fish.

Going out today with the family to IBSP for a fathers Day outing BBQ on the beach plus fishing can't be beat.  Going to stay till after dark.  Bunker chunks, clams and topwater plugs are on the menu for the fish.  Hot dogs and hamburgers are on the menu for us.   TT^ chrz
