wow. there is three potential costomers,lol. i couldnt imagine floating out there all night like that. doesnt sound too smart, sure it was only sodas and sandwiches in that cooler. they are very lucky, my fat butt would have been a sharks all you can eat buffet.lol. Damn very lucky.

Thank God the cooler was there! I did notice the discrepencies in the two news reports, but I know first hand how the reports in the news can change in comparison to the actual events being reported. I will find the article from when I was young and rescued and I will post it and tell the real story.I will try to post that this weekend.

Rod, sounds like they were somewhere near the inlet. As wide as that area is, and with the bigger boats not having access to much of that area, it is conceivable that could happen.

I would be scared as hell to be out in the dark water for 12 hours over night. Id rather call it quits then feel something slide against my foot in 20 feet of water, NO THANKS.
