Heard manasquan inlet is doing well.
« on: June 25, 2008, 08:35:15 PM »
I heard fishing the wall at the inlet for us surf fisherman is producing pretty good. LOTS and LOTS of shorts, which is still action, and if you fish hard, the keepers are out there. Spoke to the guy at alex's bait and tackle. Just a heads up, probably heading out for the day NEXT sunday. Have a high school graduation party for my sister at my house saturday evening(should be fun  t^ t^ t^) so dont plan on waking up early this sunday
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

Plenty of short fluke beinng caught at the inlet, even out on the rocks. My son caught 3 out on the rocks one day during the week on gulp and a bucktail. If all you get is shorts, try behind the cafe thats now closed, in the park, I know a lady thats getting some keepers there on live killies, lot of shorts, but she's getting some keepers too.
