Yeah, that's weird.  Most fluke's eyes migrate to the left side of their body (i.e. the one on the left in the pic).  The other one must be a rebel! ;D  Nice catch!

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

If sandsharks were good eating I would have had a freezer full of meat today, but still fun catching fish today. Managed to make a nice batch of fish cakes out of 1 blue and one fluke.

Thanks for the nice day nephew and the next time I will cut your head out of the pictures

Way to Go Nick and Uncle Luna!
The two fish are different and one does look like a deep water flounder but it has teeth like fluke(probably couldn't decide what it wanted to be when it grew up a Cowboy or Fireman).

 t^ Nice job guys.
About the sand sharks. I have caught them in Va and they were great, just like fluke. But when I tried two from Jersey it was garbage.  5hrug

Nice catch.
Not common with the eyes on the right side of the body, but not unheard of.  t^
