I needed to do a shakedown and burn last yrs. gas off so we headed to the lumps 10 to 15 nm. off Ocean City. Water temp was a cold 65 deg in the inlet, but was in the 70's farther out. Sea conditions were beautiful 2-3', water was grey blue. We found large pods of bluefish on the lumps hitting everything, but metal was the best. The fish were not large, but created multiple knockdowns. A good time was had by all and we left em biting. They were feeding on sand eels. We kept less than limit but could have easily limited out. They are tasty at that size.
