Renting or chartering a boat
« on: July 04, 2008, 08:09:12 PM »
Last year my boy and I went out on Miss Avalon, (remember my story of how I won the pot and then didn't tip the mates properly). This year I would like to do something a little different. I still want to go out but maybe on a smaller boat with less people. Almost like going out with one of you guys I guess. I would also like to go crabbing like I did when I was a wee lad on the waters of the Indian River Bay. I'm going on vacation in August so I guess I better get my plans in order. Any help would...umm...be a help.
I think I could be a really good people person if wasn't for the people.

I'm not catching any more fish, but I'm starting to learn why I'm not catching any more fish.

hey Greg. Look up capt. Mike of the stray cat. He runs some pretty low cost trips out of OC

Hey guys, just got a report from my step son. He just got back from vacation with his dad in OC. Went out with Capt. Craig on Fish Tales and had a great day. The boy got him a 22" flattie. Apparently caught a lot- kept a few. Sea Bass, Flounder and several others which were not specified. I was told they had a first class trip and they were glad they decided to do it. I pm'd Capt Craig and I just wanted to let the rest of you know too.

Good for him! Sounds like they had a variety of fish.  t^
