7/27 Raritan Bay/SH Fluke
« on: July 28, 2008, 10:03:33 AM »
Had all the trimmings for them today- Cooch brought a monsta squid, we had smelts, killies, bucktails, gulp. Tombo graced us with a return appearance.

Surprisingly light boat traffic found us moving around quite a bit. In no particular order   Flats / Back Bay / Reach / KB Hole / Flynn's / Nudie Beach

ALL SHORT
Stopped counting after 35 quite a few 17+ers went back to ambush another bait

Tombo caught gargantuskate- thought it was gonna pull him over.  hhppy
Cooch found a spiny doggy fought pretty good thought it was a boofish.
Sea robbin strips worked well for more shorts.
Finally worked the "dollar for next fish" game into a pile of Ones that made me want to stop at the shaker on the way home....  nosmly

LONG DAY no keeps  rgmn
guess Christine put the hex  >:D

still a good day

Nice report, it is tough to put keepers in the boat with the current regs.

Nice report, at least you guys had good action, tough with the 18 inch minimum. Those 17 1/2 inchers go back in, hopefully to ambush more bait and not get caught by the commercial netters.
