Took a trip in the A.M. with my son,and a friend from the Marina.Fished part of the incoming, slack and part of the outgoing with bait: squid, belly, strips and teasers.Moved around outside with sea swells out of the East.Picked through the shorts to end the trip with four keepers just at 18 1/2 inches. all the rest were LAST years keepers.Very little drift and when it was, it was against the tide.
My son waited an hour at the dock and a few of his buddies showed up to try the afternoon bite. They fished inside and outside and ended with three more keepers, released a couple of blues and a ton of shorts. Teasers were dead today.Fog was thick in the a.m and burned off as the day progressed. Not many boats out!
Good Luck out there. AJ.
