Finally some nnw wind in the am t^

Had Paul Wargo and friends aboard for a 1/2 day of fluking. Headed north looking for some keepers.

Started picking nice keepers every drift in 3-5 lb range. Paul sr. hooked his largest fluke at 8lb 8 oz. Bruce got the next jumbo at 7 lbs 5 oz. Paul got one at 7lbs 1oz butt couldnt beat outina pops.

Final count was 21 keepers.  Although they left 2 behind in the livewell that i found later. Got the 2 all filleted up and in the freezer.

one over 8lbs
two over 7lbs
three over 6lbs
and a bunch in the 3-5 lb range.

Whole squid with stingers was bait of choice today.

Only bad news is i dropped my phone in the water rgmn

Hopefully they bite tomorrow

Nice fish and report Capt Jerry.

How far north did you go today? I was off of Ocean Grove most of the day. Also used whole squid and picked up some nice fluke on it.

My original plan was to fish with you today on Joe's trip.I had to cancel due to a sales meeting.

I am taking off this Fri and fishing with a few friends.
