Sea Hawk Sat Report
« on: August 02, 2008, 07:03:44 PM »
Good day of fishing with a decent pick of keepers. High hook was Jim Custer with 4 keepers. A couple anglers finished the day with 3 keepers. Ryan Helmstetter from Cranford NJ won the pool with a 6.9lb fluke.

It was actually a rig i tied last night with a chartreuse tsunami squid on a fishfinder rig with a fluke belly and BIG smelt. Current was so fast at most points today, bucktailing wasnt an option

I bucktailed all day and caught squat.  Few shorts, searobins, that's it.  Was tough and went from 1.5oz to 4ozs.  Had alot of bites but was moving too fast for them to hook them. Second trip I got the skunk rgmn

Theresa managed two keepers as did my uncle.

Captain informed me I should take up golf :-X

Storm was pretty interesting too :P
