9-3 Sea Girt Reef Fluking
« on: September 03, 2008, 10:35:14 PM »
Went w/ 2 buddies and got to the SGR around 2pm. Stiff south wind, worked the north side to the south end for 3 hours. Got one keeper fluke, one short fluke, and a baby sea bass. Very slow bite, water was dirty, 2-4 seas. Hey Joe from the Irish Ayes- were you gone from the reef by then? Where is the Axel Carlson reef? Just curious, was there a south wind when you were there? As always, thanks for your help!

AC Reef is approximately 2 miles to the S of the very southern end of the SG Reef.  It extends from the southern end of PPB all the way down to Brick Beach, 2.5-4 miles off.

DJ, I started the day at the AC reef. Didn't have any luck there and moved north to the SG reef. Finished the day at the Klondike. Probably gone from the SG reef before you got there.

Was a poor day of catching every where I tried.
