CT Blackfish
« on: October 16, 2008, 12:51:46 PM »
Hey Gang,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been real busy on the boat etc....

While the striper bite is still good we haven't had our fall run yet. We are infested with alligator blues to 17lbs which are impossible to avaoid.

The cool thing is our Tog season has opened and the bite is pretty decent.

Here's a couple pics...

Nope. Here's my typical October routine.

Launch, snag some bunker or sabiki up some Hickory Shad in the bay.

Hit the rips close to shore with the livies for a couple hours catching bass/blues.

Blast back in and pull my grab traps, load up on greenies re-bait the traps and head out to some rockpiles for tog. If the tides are right I'll throw in some tube trolling too!!

6am to noon usually gets us a ton of fish this time of year.
