Fished the MICA Striper Tournament this weekend. With work and the parade I was only able to fish a day and a half of the 4 day tournament. They say every dog has his day and Saturday was mine. 15 minutes after setting the hook a fat 34.8 pounder came over the rail. 10 minutes later a nice 31 incher followed. The bite died with the change of the tide. Went in at 2PM and weighed the 2 fish in and changed crew members. Caught the end of the out going and got 2 more keepers. One weighed in at 16.2lbs. That one gave us a combined weight of 51 lbs and enough to take 1st place.
Is that who I think it is Congrats man Art (aka the Clamman, aka Bunkerman)
Thanks guys. I just feel fortunate to have been in the right spot at the right times.
