I would like to also say thank you to Gottog for setting this up. I guess we will have to get together & go toggin' another time. The Fishing Flea Market is tomorrow in Freehold at the Park Avenue Elementry School, 9am. You can get your fishing fix and be home in time for football.  chrz  <'((((><

Wow, what a shame.  The only consolation I have is maybe the next time I can make the date.

Another good try for this trip. I am in if there is a new date.

Gottog, thanks for setting this up. Hopefully we can get a trip in.

Are we going to try a new date for this trip?

If so, I am in, depending on the date.

Saturday was pretty tough.  Conditions were ok except for some wind-against-tide anchoring challenges.

First drop the one anchor just would not stick.  Finally got set up and seemed fish were biting in certain spots so alot of skating around.
Captain went to try some deeper water and no improvement in action.  had some issues with the anchor getting stuck in the "wheels" so finished the trek home on one engine.  Long day :P
I only managed one keeper as did my uncle.  Some did a little better with 2-5keepers.  Pool fish was about 6.5lbs or so.  Captain has diver coming to straighten out his situation and will be back on track Wednesday.

Sea hawk is only sailing until end of Decemeber so not sure when we could get another date.  I say just head out there when it looks nice on his open trips.  If enough of us go we can get a group discount. They are chartered this Saturday the 13th and I can't do the 14th.
