Saturday 12/06 was the last trip I had on the books for 2008. Jonathan Vince and his 4 other crew members jumped on board.
It was a bit chilly with the air temp at 26. But there was little to no wind and with the heater turned on the wheelhouse was rather comfortable. We got off the dock at 6:30am and were fishing by about 7:00. We had the last of the out going tide and the water was a bit dirty. The going was slow but we kept looking.
When the tide started back in the Bass bite kicked in too. We made a pass and had three hooked up. One on a Bucktail and two on eels. One of the three went into the box. The action was steady from that point on with the far majority being shorts. We did manage to put a few more Bass into the box with all being 28" to 29.5"
This coming weekend I think myself and a couple buddies will slide out to fish just for the hell of it. Have some fun.
