Fishing still remains off from what it should be. We have been trying everything from 5-30 miles 70-105ft. Some days they chew alittle others they dont.Anglers having been working hard to put fish in da bucket Pool fish have been nice size from 9-13lbs on most trips.

Thurs we sailed with the island current with Jimmy's charter, Fishing was slow ya had to wait out the bite and the fished bit but they never turned on top fish was around 12llbs by Matt Dudak.

Fri WE sailed the Chesapeake Fishing club and some other from jersey were abaord the Island Current. The fish did not cooperate until late in the day on the last couple of drops. It was not good but some fish made it into the some buckets. Don from Nj had a few, couple of nice fish came up including on at 13lbs and one at 11lbs.

Sat we did not sail due to wind

Sun we had mr shins and Maryland fishing club aboard, slow pick few here few there type bite. High hook was tied at 6 keepers. no big fish pool was around 7lbs.

Mon We had Stelly and a cast of all star anglers on board. We headed back to the area were we had some slobs last week. This week a slow pick of boxer sized fished but a few good ones. Greg Vongas had a 11+lb personal best and another over 9lbs. Rich had an 8lber and a 9lber also his personal best. Fished a long day and the guys worked hard for all the fish around 40 keepers total.

The I.C. will cont to fish for blackfish until april. Call Capt Scott 732 692 9521 or check out www.fishbanditiv.com for more info.

Here some pics from the weekend. Hopefully the fishing improves back at it fri.

Thanks Guys

Slow week of fishing , water temps were frigid 37-41, no local bite, fished 20-40 miles in 90-130 feet just to catch a few

Fri we had Jimmy's Charter aboard, fished east no steady bites anywhere. Only had 1 keeper a few shorts the whole trip. Bummer. Not from lack of trying. just got lock jaw. Didnt even get scrathes on the 120 ft wrecks that have caught nice size blackfish the last 2 seasons on.

Sat We had Vinces Yearly B.B. Online Site trip. Fished 30 Miles to the south.
Slow bite. Got scatchy one time bites didnt finish the crabs. Those who went to small quater crabs had a couple of fish and a couple of shorts. water warmed up to a steamy 40 . Pool Fish was about 6 lbsut only asbout 12 keepers . Great group of guys they fished very hard.

Sun we got blown out beautiful temps but gusty winds.

Mon we had Stellios charter and an all star cast. But it didnt help the fishing any. Got a few keepers including a 9lber as soon a we stopped and that was it fizzled to nothing. Guys worked very hard at the rail, were in good stuff all day just didnt get the bites. John had the Hottest hand of the weekend hooking 6 keepers including the 9lber and Pool winning tagged 10lber. Even without black cat its been tough.

Smokey Joe kept everyone;s bellies full all day with his excellent BBq food. Lots of laughs with the guys. Just we the bite would pick up. Ended the day over 40 miles to the south.

Hopefully with the warmer temps the water will warm up a bit. Get them chewing.

Thanks Guys

Hey Guys,

Just got back from a weekend in delaware. We fished sat and sun. Fishing was still very slow both days with only a few keepers around... Water was still 38-39 deg, from all the snow melt... We fished everything from 60-110ft High hook was Bob from milford delaware  with 4 keepers

Both were beautiful weather days on the water...

After being blown out so much lately it was nice to be on the water... with the temp in the 50 and 60 it should warm up by next weekend.

We will still be sailing our charters till the end of the month.

Then i will be back for to monger some flundies.

Well bigjay282 pretty much got to the point on the capt's scotty and jerry class act guys. It was good day of fishing for what it has been the last few weeks.First drop it was a very scratchy bite but slowly but surely they was getting over that rail, moved on after a few couple of hours second drop they was hitting alil more aggresively, a couple of very nice size fish came up there ...
Unfortunetly i fell victim to the bench for about 1/2 of the trip  rgmn rgmn rgmn just thought i can party the night before and still be able to function  nosmly nosmly nts i guess i was wrong, but still managed to get a few in the bucket to take home..or maybe bigjay282 you put something in that juice you gave me  chrz ???
   Good turn out tho !!
