I was out there on Wed too. Witch of the 6 boats were you in. Congrats on the new boat. It will stick out like a sore thumb and be easy to find during striper season. ;D
This too shall pass.

I was in my old Mako, a friend purchased it from me and renamed it. It Is now "Quick Release". I didn't see other boats anywhere near the area we were fishing. He likes to work the edges.

Been picking up a decent amount of short weakfish the end of last week, I hope they are still around when I get back down.

Took a ride outside today.  Not too bad @ 7 AM but by 10 the wind was hollowing. nosmly Decided the best course was to head in and I glad I did because by the time I hit the inlet the wind was hollowing plus another 10 knts.  Did manage to catch some blues and albies so not a total washout.

Phil, nice catch. The inlet sure looked snotty..

Do you have any days off during the week or just weekends now that vacation season is over?

I got down around 8 and my friend and I decided to go breakfast instead. We eventually changed our plans and anchored up in the clam stakes and chummed for king fish. We put 4 hours in and got 4 kings.

Headed down this morning with my BIL. By the time we  hit the GSP exit it was drizzing and the flags were standing straight out.

Bagged it and got breakfast, checked out some waterfowl hunting areas and looked at guns at Tip's HW.

Decided to hit the PP canal on the way home. Got a few togs and sea bass on clams even though the tide was ripping. Fun on lite spinning rods.

I'm out of town this week Ron. I give you a shout when I'm back. I was snotty out there and I glad I headed back in early before I got into trouble. Ya gotta know your limitation.

Way to save the day BNB!  Manasquan Inlet was kicking this evening.  I have never seen a commercial fishing boat rock the way the Discovery was today on the way in cfzd.  They were actually taking water over the walls...pretty wild!
