Bow Roller Mounts

Hi all, hope everybody's spring prep is going well, or has gone well. I have been trying to figure out how I can hold my anchor. My boat is 18ft CC, and I was looking at the roller bow mount holder that hold the danforth anchors. I do not have a bow pulpit. Can these be mount without a pulpit?  The deck area by the front cleat has plenty of room, but you need clearance for the anchor tines and I am not sure if these can overhang the bow.

you would need a pulpit to hold the anchor away from the bow of the boat.

on my last boat i had a clip that went on the bow rail and the flat part of the anchor slid into it then i had a block of foam on the handle of the anchor. Ill try to find a pic

just make sure the length of the forks on the anchor don't rub against your bow.  I am not sure how long this bracket is, but looking at it, it looks to short.  Your not going to bolt it at the very tip of your bow.  You will have a slight over lay.  When the anchor comes up, the forks of the anchor will sit below the bracket and possibly reach the very front of your bow.  Just make sure you measure everything properly.

Also do you have a way to through bolt the bracket

If you have the bracket with the pin to hold the Chain- you can mount like this--you can see where the tines were hitting the hull.

  Thanks All! Yes Capt Joe that's what I was looking at. I would need to measure as the bolts would have to go through the front deck. Not sure if the mount is long enough.

  just drop it off at Capt. Matt, close your eyes, pay the money, and presto.... it is finished the correct way..
