Big scare for me last Monday

Dodged a bullet this past Monday....I had a heart attack!! ( can't believe I just typed that )

Monday afternoon around 2pm I felt like I had an elephant sitting on my chest and decided to go to the local immediate medical care unit here in Chester....Glad I did!!!

Ambulance ride to the hospital...blood test revealed that it was a heart attack...so....

They preformed a heart catherization procedure yesterday afternoon...found a blockage that fed 2 arteries and put in a stent....All's good...my heart bounced back with no damage according to the electrocardiography today.... Just got home from my ordeal...

Time to  give up the smokes and eat better......

Glad I'm still here to type all this  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Good thing you went--some people don't even know they have had them. I have known people that had 3-4 when the doctors checked them out.

 cfzd Wow, good deal on catching it early and not waiting around to see if the pain went away. That is what a lot of peeps do and they pay the price for it.
