A great time as per usual with this crew!! regardless of the fishing.. its guaranteed laughs all day  great to see  Darren back in action on all fronts!    Congrats to Uncle Luna for sticking hard to rail all day through that cold wind and impossible bite.. to finally be rewarded with his pool winning specimen      He also gets extra points for displaying the wisdom of keeping his back towards the rail and his eyes on Al during idle moments.. thus avoiding going home smelling like a bait shop dumpster!   Thanks for setting it up fellas.. looking forward to our next adventure

Here are a few pointers I picked up on yesterdays trip that may help others.

1)Per Capt Jim "Work the tip"

2)Greens or whites work equally well when dropping them down the back of Kenny's bids.

3)NJBob has some insightful things to say...

4)Never feed the Capt Pepperoncini Peppers

5)If Paulie ain't catching the Tog ain't biting

6)Heated Handrails are nice

It was a pleasure fishing next to you all day Mark. We worked hard at it! Remember never take a cat nap while fishing no matter what,those fish are sneaky Lol.

Great to finally get out fishing and see everyone yesterday ! what a crew ...

Despite the tough day of fishing we all had a great day filled with the usual Ball Busting and laughs...you just can't go wrong with that group !!!

Couple of highlights for me included :

Darren on the come back trail yesterday !! he might have walked to the boat with some help of a cane but fished his arse off all day!! Great to see you back in the game buddy  !!

CrabBanditElitePayPalNewAl was in rare form yesterday in his role as the "crab bandit".. ..Still need to check my truck and duffel bag...Nobody was safe yesterday....

NJ Bob was uncharacteristically quite yesterday  ......

Fishing was very sloooow but the ball busting and jokes were typically epic when this group gets together.

Great to see Darren back at the rail again.

Even though the togging was VERY slow and the weather was cold and windy, I had a great time with a great crew.     It is not always about catching keeper fish, but getting out on the ocean and relaxing and laughing the day away.

Here are some random items I enjoyed yesterday.

As old as that trick is, Eddie putting a hole in Kenny's beer can was hilarious.

Me finishing the day without getting crushed against the starboard rail by Phil as much as we were rolling at times.

Knowing that in a strong NW wind the starboard stern corner is the WARMEST spot on the boat and out of the wind.  

PaypalAl trying to blame the inert buckets for the reason he fell and hit the deck on the ride home.

Kenny actually being QUIET for a little while.  

Getting to spend the day with Mark who was mating as I have known and fished with him for about 20 years.  He filled me in on all the scuttlebutt going on in AH harbor of all the captain and mates I have fished with there.  Thanks Mark.

When blackfishing sucks, green and white crabs suck equally.  

Captain Jim is a really nice guy as long as Crabhider AL does not mention website fishing advice and the MUDHOLE.  

Thanks again for the great day and am looking forward to the next time we can all fish together.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the 1.9-magnitude quake occurred shortly before 7:15 a.m.

A small number of residents of Monmouth and Ocean Counties say they felt the rumble in their homes, but for most residents, the event went unnoticed.
