first time I found something it was shortly after mom passed away in 2002,every so often I punch in my last name and see what comes up.it was something from the state of  NY and me and my sister shared a thousand dollars from an insurance claim.that time I sent it in by registered mail so they had to sign for it and I had a receipt.what I put in for this time from what Rod found was actually from 2 adressses my parents had,one from early 1940's and another one from the 50's.will be patient and wait.   Kez

good news,got a reply from the state today,almost $2200 in monies from my deceased mom and dad,my sister and myself will file the proper paperwork to claim it.got to thank Rod for finding this site and posting the link. t^ Kez
