I have a great Saturday, but even a better Friday evening.. Team LS3 had a pretty good day. The team of Luna Sea, Uncle Luna, Capt. Anthony, Skolman and his son Jason.Early start had a real nice drift over the Reach Channel 9 and 10. When the drift stopped dead, we headed for the Sandy Hook Channels to pick up a better drift. As the day went on, the drift became unfishable. Our total tally for today was 11 Keepers.1 @24 1/2"2 @24"2 @22"4 @20"2 @18"Our score for today was a total of 16.60 lbs.1. 5.00 lbs2. 3.96 lbs3. 3.88 lbs4. 3.76 lbsWhat hurt us was a 24" fish that went 3.96, that I thought would have went over the 5 lbs mark.I have the form to fax, if there is a place to fax it to.Great day, ton, and tons of laughs, like always. If you want, use my format. Report, weight, and pictures. No weights will be accepted unless posted here first, using a similar format with pictures.
The Fluka Brasi crew Of Dave, Ross, My bro Rob, and myself had a great time today. Spent the day in the Reach, mostly from the 10 (where we had the pleasure of seeing Nick and the LS3 crew) to the 14. Steady pick thru the morning, and when the drift died, decided to stay put and switch to jigging..continuing to pick away. Ended up with 8 keepers for the boat.. with no help from me at all.. My juju was bad all day, after my lucky "Jersey Fresh" hat got sucked out of the boat on our first move.. and I just couldn't get it going today..Good thing the Jersey Boys bailed us out. Our potential anchor fish, was a nice lookin 5-6 lber., came un-buttoned on Rob just as Rossie was sliding the net under! As for our weigh-in, I will leave this up to the discretion on the judges.. Lack of advance recon left me unable to find digital to weigh on..I first weighed in on at the Tackle Box in Hazlet on their beam scale. As I could not get a pic that showed the #'s on that scale, I went into Keyport and tried Crabbys..They had a dial scale that could be read, but neither scale had increments less than a half pound.. Also, a few of my scale pics taken on my new little camera have one of my sausage fingers in the frame. So I will gladly accept any ruling on our weight or entry. Our top 4 fish:1. 19 1/4" 3.0 lbs2. 19 1/2" 3.5 lbs3. 19 3/4" 3.5 lbs4. 20 1/2" 4.0 lbs Total Weight: 14lbs. This is the first tourney I've fished in about 20 years and we had a blast!. Congrats to all, and thanks NJSWF for a great time ! Nice day guys seen you out there quite often alsonice boat there capt. and love the name of it.

Irish Ayes catch weigh in pics. I hope they can be seen. Sorry for the poor alignment of the pics but the B&T scale is hard to read in the camera. I tried to get the fish and scale in the pic but was more concerned with the scale than the fish.Sorry about the peeps in the back ground too.
