Hi All,It may have been on a private boat.It was not caught by any of the Capts. of Shore Catch.However, the fish has been confirmed to be a potential IGFA World Record by the owner of Scott's Bait and Tackle. Hi Broken One,Now you have something to really shoot for.Do you know if mono or braid was used (I have read it was 65 lb. Power Pro)? And then the followup, is braid accepted by the IGFA?I remember asking a while back but I don't remember the answer (I know mono, multifilament, and multifilament lead core qualify - is braid a multifilament?).I thought if anyone had a chance this year it would be you as you had some real good, consistent size ...Thanks for the post,Ed
