Whatever reel you pick you should turn the outfit over to me so it can have a proper test run.
I would take the rod and put different reels see which one matches the feel and wallet.Good Luck.
Rick:IF you are only going to use it now and then and money is a concern, you may want to look at some of the Okumas. I have two (forget the # offhand) on 50# rods and I like them. Again, they're not Penn Internationals or Tiagras but they get the job done and were reasonably priced.

The main question is how much I am going to use it. I don't think I will use it much at all.
